But who is he?

I realized advertising was a career when I began to rewrite subway ads in my head like a lunatic. I was commuting to a job in non-profit grant writing. I wanted to change the world, I still do, but now I also want to sell you a laptop.

It’s kind of amazing what the right words and pictures can do. They’re the foundation for anything you’ll laugh or cry about. And with all the possible combinations of words and pictures out there, it’s disappointing so many brands repeat the same ones over and over. It’s ok, we can change that.

I like to work fast, and iteratively. I believe how we work is just as important as what we work on. But if you’re asking, I’ve also worked on some pretty big stuff: global hardware launches, viral Google Slides presentations, brand books that reimagine what a computer really means, and Oscars ads with celebrities singing in their head about the ennui of choosing what to watch on Netflix. I’ve also worked on Netflix. There’s less ennui now.

I’m so flattered you’re here.
