The last time I really cried...

was while watching the new HBO documentary about Warren Buffett. It wasn't even sad, just touching and heartfelt. All those nice things he's doing for schoolchildren in Nebraska. I guess what I'm trying to say is: I'm sensitive. And I'm broke. I'm really broke and I'm not helping any schoolchildren.

But I used to. In my previous career I was a grant writer for a charter school and then a hospital. I wanted to change the world, but my grant proposals weren't doing it.

Ad man Howard Gossage once said: "changing the world is the only work fit for a grown man." I agree. Now I'm trying to be a grown man.
